- To carry out research and statistical analysis on topics such as popular locations for Solar Battery Hubs and which demographics are accessing this service.
- To validate the identity of who is collecting and returning the batteries.
- To inform the user of their nearest Hub to their address.
- To operate our application and to allow you to access and use our services.
- To provide you with customer support.
- To contact you to answer any questions you have.
- To resolve disputes.
- To monitor and evaluate the success of service.
- To improve the service.
- To inform you of updates to the service.
- To track our batteries' locations.
- To track our batteries' usage.

How long we keep your data
We will keep your data for as long as you have an account with us. On deletion of your account all personal information held will be removed.
What do we mean by "Legal basis"?
We are only able to use your personal data when the law allows us to. This is called the legal basis. Regarding the above purposes, the legal basis listed for each are explained below:
- Consent: You have given us your consent to process your personal data for specific purposes we have explained to you, such as setting up your account and validating your identity. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, please contact the Data Protection Officer via the details supplied below.
- Contractual Necessity: We process your personal data when it is necessary to perform a contract we have with you. For example, we collect and use your GPS data to ensure the proper functioning of our rental service, including tracking rented batteries to ensure their safe return. Without this processing, we would be unable to fulfill the rental agreement and provide the service.
- Legitimate Interest: You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, such as behavior analysis for improving service availability.
Who is the information shared with?
As with most organisations, we use third-party services to help us deliver our services and keep your data secure. When we use these service providers, it is necessary for us to share your personal data with them. We have agreements in place with all our providers that oblige them to protect your data.

We employ industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your GPS data from unauthorized access, breaches, or misuse. In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify the relevant authorities, including the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) if applicable, and any affected users within 72 hours.
